We need to get started turning things around to provide relief to consumers at the pump now and repeal the $17 billion in tax breaks to Elizabeth Dole's friends at Big Oil and Gas and invest that money into renewable energy for our nation's safety and economic security in the long term.

Throughout the summer, Kay has been visiting gas stations across the state talking to consumers about the skyrocketing gas prices, and her ideas to help bring relief to consumers in the short term, while helping our country invest in renewable energy in the long term.

When it comes to Elizabeth Dole, her "experience" in Washington is just another way of doing business which hasn't helped us invest in long term renewable energy and it's not doing a thing for families who are paying upward of $4.10 for a gallon of gas.
